Your first project#
Sign in, choose the right partner organization, and make sure its partner application is approved.
Agree the scope, deliverables, timeline, and service fees with your client.
For a new store, create a transfer store. For an existing store, request collaborator access from the owner.
Invite your team and assign only the store permissions each person needs.
Build and test the store, review it with your client, and resolve anything they need before launch.
For a transfer store, create the client handoff, share its link yourself, and follow it until ownership has transferred.
Choose the right way to work#
Transfer store |
Managed store |
|
|---|---|---|
When to use it |
You are building a new store for a client. |
Your client already owns a store. |
Who owns it |
Your partner organization until the handoff completes. |
The existing store owner. |
How you start |
Create a store in Partner Portal. |
Request access and wait for the owner’s approval. |
How you work |
Open Store Admin to build and test. |
Assign organization members with the approved permissions. |
How you finish |
Complete a paid subscription handoff to the client. |
Keep approved access for ongoing work, or leave the store. |
Know the build and handoff limits#
Transfer stores have a three-calendar-month build period. They are password-protected, accept test payments only, and do not charge a subscription while you build. Custom domains and marketing email become available after handoff. Review the store’s build deadline in your organization’s timezone and request an extension before you need one. Read the build-period guide.
A handoff needs a currently available paid plan and the client’s exact verified email address. Creating an offer does not send an automatic email: copy the client link and share it yourself. Ownership changes after the subscription payment is confirmed. Read the delivery guide.
Find your way around Partner Portal#
Area |
What you do there |
|---|---|
Dashboard |
Check transfer-store usage, completed transfers, and shortcuts. |
Stores |
Find transfer stores, managed stores, and collaborator access requests. |
Directory |
Prepare your public profile and read project enquiries. |
Team |
The organization owner invites members and manages their roles and permissions. |
Activity |
Review the organization activity available to you. |
Settings |
Manage the organization details, limits, notifications, and other settings available to your role. |
The pages and actions you see depend on your role and permissions. Joining an organization does not automatically give you access to every client store. Learn how organization and store access fit together.
Before you hand over a store#
Review products, collections, storefront pages, navigation, policies, and contact details with the client.
Test the storefront and checkout with test payments. Test orders are not sent to fulfillment or shipping apps.
Confirm the client’s billing country and currency, storefront currency, chosen subscription plan, and acceptance deadline.
Give the client the handoff link and explain which verified email address they must use.
After handoff, help the client complete live payment, domain, and launch setup in Store Admin. Request collaborator access if you will continue working on the store.
Help when you need it#
Troubleshooting covers missing access, store setup, handoff problems, and directory review.
Tringify Help explains everyday Store Admin and mobile tasks for you and your clients.
Developer Docs covers APIs, apps, themes, and technical integrations.
Partner program explains the program; the Partner Directory shows public profiles.
Tringify Status shows service incidents.
Use these guides with an assistant#
Give your assistant the relevant task guide and confirm the organization, store, intended recipient and permissions before it makes changes. Ask it to review the displayed deadline and timezone. Review invitations, access removal, ownership handoff and deletion confirmations yourself. An approved organization request still needs individual store assignments; a submitted handoff still needs the client’s payment and confirmed activation. Never give an assistant someone else’s password or sign-in codes.
