Use a store handoff when a completed transfer store is ready for its client. A handoff records one intended client email, one current subscription quote, and an explicit acceptance deadline. The store remains a transfer store until the client completes the qualifying subscription payment and Tringify confirms activation.
Create the handoff#
Open the completed transfer store in Partner Portal and choose Client handoff.
Enter the client’s exact email address. The client must sign in with that verified address.
Choose a currently available paid monthly or yearly plan. Free plans cannot complete a handoff.
Choose a future acceptance date. The offer ends at 23:59 your organization’s timezone on that date; review the displayed deadline and timezone before creating the handoff.
After creating the offer, choose Copy client link and send it to the client yourself. If automatic copying is unavailable, select and copy the displayed link. Creating a handoff does not send an automatic email.
Country and currency#
The quote uses the store’s billing country and billing currency. The storefront currency is shown separately and does not change what the client pays for the subscription.
The client chooses whether the payer is their own account or an eligible organization they own. The payer’s legal country must match the store billing country. You cannot choose the client’s payer, approve their billing identity, or pay from Partner Portal.
Deadlines, changed prices, and recovery#
If the acceptance deadline passes, or the plan price changes before acceptance, the client cannot continue on the old quote. Review the current plan, price, interval, currency, and a new future deadline, then requote. Requoting creates a new revision for the same intended client.
A transfer store’s build deadline can pass without deleting its handoff. Create, review, requote, withdraw, and client payment recovery remain available so a completed build can still be delivered. The handoff’s own acceptance deadline continues to control whether its current quote can be accepted.

Withdrawal and payment can cross while checkout is processing. A withdrawal after checkout was created may show Review required while billing is reconciled. If Tringify receives paid evidence after withdrawal, the handoff changes to Payment review required so the payment is not lost or transferred to the wrong recipient. Do not create another charge while either review is open.
