Use collaborator access when a client already owns a Tringify store. You work through your partner organization, with the permissions the store owner approves. You do not need the client’s password.
Send an access request#
In Partner Portal, choose the organization that will work on the store.
Open Stores, then Request Access.
Enter the store subdomain. For example, enter “example” for example.mytringify.com, rather than the full web address.
Select the permissions needed for the agreed work.
In Message to store owner, explain what you will do and why you need those permissions.
Select Send Request. Tell the client to review the collaborator request in Store Admin.
Follow the request#
In Stores, open Access Requests to see pending and recent requests. Search by store or submitter, filter by status, and open a request to review its message and requested permissions. A pending request shows its expiry. You can cancel a pending request if it is no longer needed.
A request is not access. Wait for the owner’s approval. If the owner rejects it, read the reason shown and discuss the scope before making another request. If it expires, confirm the owner still wants the work before requesting again.
After approval#
The store appears under Managed Stores. The organization owner should open Manage Team, assign the people who will work on it, and choose their store permissions. Manage store collaborators explains that step.
If you cannot find the store#
Ask the client for its mytringify.com subdomain, even if shoppers use a custom domain.
Check the spelling and use only the subdomain in the request form.
Make sure your organization has room for another managed store in Settings and limits.
Follow any access or eligibility message the portal shows; ask the client or organization owner to resolve it before retrying.
What the client reviews#
The store owner opens Settings → Team → Access Requests in Store Admin or the mobile app. They review your organization, message, requested permissions and expiry. They can approve a smaller set of permissions or reject the request. Requests expire after seven days if not reviewed. Approval adds your organization to Organization Access; it does not assign individual collaborators.
To change an existing organization grant, open the managed store and choose Request permission changes. Review the permissions to keep, add or remove, explain the change, and submit it for the store owner’s review. Current access remains until a decision. The owner may approve fewer permissions or reject the change. Requests expire after seven days. If the grant changes meanwhile, reload its current permissions and review a new request; the old request cannot overwrite it.
